What craig armstrong doesn't like about The Tea Hut:
A great location for a tea hut cafe that was really popular for people grabbing drinks, cake and food. We were disappointed by the breakfast sandwiches as the filling was lacking, the bacon sandwiches really need an extra rasher as you feel shortchanged. We probably wouldn’t come back for food, but would just for a coffee. View all feedback. What Alison likes about The Tea Hut:
Took visiting friends here as we've usually had a good experience. We were told there was a 20.minute wait for food but it actually took 45 minutes for our sandwiches to arrive. read moreThe Tea Hut Cafe is a popular spot for grabbing drinks, cake, and food. While some reviewers were disappointed with the breakfast sandwiches and slow service, others enjoyed the atmosphere and lovely location by the river. The carrot cake and gluten-free toastie were highlights for many. The staff was praised for their helpfulness, going above and beyond for customers. The Tea Hut Cafe seems to be a hit or miss, with some great dishes like the sausage roll and brunch sandwich, but also some disappointing experiences with soggy chips and limited food options. Overall, it's a charming spot for a coffee and a treat.
