Popped in with my daughters and extended family after a morning out. The food was nice quality pub food with friendly and prompt service. Lovely outdoor area on the river. A nice area to sit and watch the river or allow the kids to stretch their legs (bearing in mind the proximity to the river). There’s also a nice walk along the river to walk off your lunch. What janieb16 doesn't like about The Maybush Inn:
We have had some lovely meals and visits to the Maybush, but not anymore. The choice on the special board was uninteresting and the menu was uninviting, well just plain boring, A nice salmon or bream dish would have been great. Or even a steak... View all feedback.
My wife and I enjoyed a fantastic meal at The Maybush on our wedding anniversary last week. We were fortunate to get a table outside, and the food and service were faultless. The fish and chips was comfortably among the best I’ve had anywhere, and my wife absolutely loved the cold fish platter which she’d had on a previous visit. She may have been able to finish it if we hadn’t ordered the super cheesy nachos to start.
Great spot to have a summer drink , watch the sun kissed sky , walk the dogs along the river. What summers are made for. Good food selection , not gastro but decent value. Good selection of beers.
Food was lovely and staff friendly but wheelchair access was very hard it took 2 of us to push my dad up the slope as it slants to the side which is very unsafe, if we were elderly and had to push a wheelchair it...
Very friendly service. Great breakfast. Good pint afterwards. Lovely views. Had a slight issue with car park signage. It is misleading. The car park is free for patrons. The pub will refund you but much better idea not to pay in first place. : Otherwise...
Great location for a sunny morning breakfast which was freshly cooked and well presented. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The full riverside breakfast was ordered for the big eaters who loved it. As a suggestion, could you rename the ‘children’s breakfast’ to ‘smaller breakfast’...
