What Nigel B doesn't like about Satis House:
Rubbish. The steak was cold and dried out, no sauce or gravy or an offer of some. The lamb shoulder was supposed to be with croquettes and root vegetables with a jus but ended up being a couple of boiled potatores and some frozen peas soaked in some form of tasteless gravy. Terrible and expensive, paid for bar and room and didn't even end up staying so cold and weird. Gone so far down hill and completely dead. Such a shame
Fantastic food and service, one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time, reasonably priced as well for the quality of food.
Three good diners ,good service and nice wine, interesting decor in dining room . will come again when in the area
A menu with exceptional choices. Try the steak, well cooked and presented, couldn't really ask for more.
Wholesome food and very nicely prepared. The menu has something for everyone and is reasonably priced.
