Morning out, kid friendly. Coffee lovely. Breakfast sandwiches great. The sausage sandwich was great. The granary bread was flavoursome. My eldest son says the bacon sandwich was a 9/10 . Bacon tasty and flavoursome. Chocolate caramel brownie enjoyed by youngest. The play area was kid friendly. Strawberry picking was enjoyable. Selection of fruit to pick. View all feedback.

I visited this restaurant for a lunchtime meal and tried the beef lasagne with a side salad and garlic bread from their limited menu. Priced at £10.50, the lasagne was dry and unevenly reheated, making it very hard and crunchy in some places. It was not served hot, so I ended up leaving most of it uneaten. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, a staff member approached me and refunded £5, apologizing for the poor quality of the dish. If a dish is not up to standard, it should not be served to customers. Overall, I was not happy with my experience.
I had had a busy morning and really fancied a piece of home made quiche. I remembered seeing quiche on the counter during a previous visit. They had a nice selection. I opted for cheese and onion. It tasted amazing. I had a lovely lady called Leoni serve me. I was told the quiche was made by Sarah. It was the best I have had in a long time. Served with salad and new potatoes. Thank you. I shall come again soon.
This was my first time visiting the farm cafe and I had heard great things about it, so my mom, wife, and I decided to give it a try for lunch. The weather wasn't great and there weren't many people in the cafe, so it seemed like a good choice. However, after ordering soup, tea cake, and a toasted sandwich, we had to wait over 45 minutes to be served. It was frustrating when my mom asked about our order after 25 minutes and then again after 40 minutes, only to be told it was coming. It may have just been a bad day, but I don't think I will be returning.
I was in the cafe with my grandson who was hungry so asked if I could take a cold sausage roll to the table. No offer of help as I had a buggy bearing in mind the table was only few meters away. I was handed the roll on a plate and whilst trying to manoeuvre with the buggy it fell on the floor. Asked for another one but the person assumed I didn't want to pay and went to see the manager. On her return she was so rude and said if it happens again I would need to pay! I said I was quite prepared to pay anyway pointing out they could have helped....I will never set foot in this place again. I walked out!
Everything cooked fresh and from scratch, not a frozen vegetable or Aunt Bessie in sight. Copious and tasty home made nut roast, Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes, sprouts, swede mash, parsnips and gravy. As vegetarians, we didn't have turkey, but the same on other customers plate looked delicious too. Dessert of plum pudding and fresh cream none of the squirty cheap stuff. Best Christmas lunch I have had for decades.
