I recently dined at this restaurant and had a fantastic experience. We started with the cured prawns as an appetizer, which were perfectly cooked and the curry sauce was delicious. For my main course, I had the steamed wild boar and ale pie, which was probably the best pie I've ever had. The steak was cooked to perfection and the pastry was delicious. My wife had the grilled chicken on a potato cake from the specials menu, which was also delicious. The staff were very friendly and the overall experience was excellent. I would definitely return if I am ever in the area again.

The burgers at this restaurant are fantastic. I have brought many friends here specifically for the burgers, which are my absolute favorite. I like mine without the bacon jam, opting for Stilton cheese instead. The portions are generous and definitely worth the price. However, I recommend taking a nice long walk afterwards.

Excellent. My daughter reserved a table for us while we traveled to her area. When we arrived, parking was easy and the staff greeted us promptly, even though they were very busy. They initially booked us a table inside with our two dogs, but we opted to sit outside which was not a problem. The service was top-notch, the food was delicious and beautifully presented, and nothing was too much trouble for the attentive staff. A fantastic team, thank you.

Fantastic early dinner today. Staff squeezed us in last minute. The restaurant is spacious and clean. Food was delightful and the staff were very attentive and helpful.
