George's Steakhouse - Suffolk

The food was good ok, but the main thing about this restaurant was the staff and the service how they treated my family was amazing!!

There are much better home cooking style places in the area. We have been here a couple times just to give it a fair shake and it's just older people who enjoy a blander option and don't seem to want to cook on their own. I would put it on the same standard as something like Golden corral style food, but significantly higher priced. The vibe is not charming and we really wanted to be able to like this place and enjoy the experience, but it was just uncomfortable and the food was not good either time.

This is a great restaurant! The food is always good as is the service. During this visit, I dined in. I got the grilled chicken salad sans cheese. Typically it would come with feta cheese. The homemade dressing is delicious. I also got a side of fries, which were fried perfectly. They have booths and tables, and can accommodate large groups. It's a local favorite check it out today!

Good food and service tonight. The place was crowded so I assumed they are good. A few yrs ago we had bad experience. But no complaints tonight.

Old school restaurant feel. The crowd is full of suffolk regulars, you can tell just by watching their interactions with the staff. The menu is condensed but has variety. The steak was just okay, a little overcooked but I didn't expect the best steak ever from a place like this. The fries and onions rings are good and filling. The bang bang shrimp however is something I would recommend and look forward to ordering again. The service was good and I just loved the feel of the place. I definitely see myself coming back to try other items on the menu soon.
