We loved Amici?s. Had the Mediterranean pizza and the fig prosciutto. Both were delicious. Especially the Mediterranean! We sat outside on the enclosed patio and the ambience was great. Service was attentive and friendly. Food arrived quick. Enjoyedour sparkling sweet red wine. Def will be back!
It was our first time there. First I'll say the servers are fantastic! We were greeted immediately and given our drinks right away. We ordered the meatball appetizer to share. It came with 4 generously sized meatballs that were cooked to perfection. Forthe mains we ordered the pork belly carbonara and the shrimp in lemon cream sauce. Unfortunately the sauces in both were verythin and watery and the shrimp were a bit rubbery, but the flavors on both were good. We saw a wood fired oven-I think they'reprobably known more for the pizza. We will definitely go back and give the pizza a try.
It feels like we struck gold here in Suffolk! Every restaurant we?ve eaten at has been a fantastic food experience. And lucky for us, Amici?s was no exception! The pizza was very good. The crust was soft and delicate like fresh French bread. We eventook a ball of dough home and an extra container of the Shrimp Grits sauce to dip ? because yummm, that?s why). That dish wasincredibly tasty too. With the spice of the andouille sausage and the smokey cheesy sauce surrounding the polenta, it was such anice savory balance, not too salty. My Eggplant Parmesan was excellent. Thick sliced eggplant, not bitter or too mushy. Lovedit. Go if you get a chance!
Great place for unique delicious pizza and a beer. I tried a pear& gorgonzola pizza that was strangely wonderful and my daughter got a Margherita pizza. Very casual with a rustic vibe. Family friendly and well staffed, we didn?t have to wait for our fooddespite multiple large groups.
Nice ambiance and great service. The food got mixed reviews from our party of 6. The fettuccine Alfredo was great and the meatballs got two thumbs up. The Greek salad wasn't great with spring greens and tomatoes that weren't good. The eggplantparmesan wasn't great b/c the eggplant wasn't really cooked so it was a little tough. The pizza was ho+him. The baked ziti wasjust penne in sauce.
