What a fantastic spot! I live in Manhattan and was meeting a friend who lives 45 minutes north of Suffern, This was the halfway spot for us. The food was fantastic the owner served us and was a happy and enthusiastic person. The menu choices were just fantastic. This was a great dining experience on every level.
Although food was acceptable service was horrendous making the experience totally unacceptable. Service was slowest of any experience i have had in a restaurant. In addition to of the four dinner orders were completely wrong

The restaurant is no longer open. You should have known that they had reported me. We arrived at an empty parking lot to find a dark, locked restaurant.
Very nice Italian “go to” restaurant. Food is almost great. I enjoyed my lamb shank. I feel they could take it up a slight notch and food would be great. All in all, I’ll come back. It’s not Savini’s good, but it could get there.
