On the road to go to the Austrian, we decide to stop for a quick lunch break in a typical Swiss mountain chalet. the environment is inviting and welcoming, the... read more On the road to go to the Austrian, we decide to stop for a quick lunch break in a typical Swiss mountain chalet. the environment is inviting and welcoming, the friendly staff and the panorama on the adjacent lake really enchanting. the choice of foods is quite limited but the reason is explained in the menu. recently missed the owner's husband-chooco and therefore the woman was forced to reduce the variety of dishes offered. the table is equipped with goto and in the middle of a typical basket of Easter eggs we find a delicious dressing to add to taste the dishes. are basically served seconds based on breaded steak and fried with roasted potatoes or chips, mixed salad, a delicious dish typical of potatoes and really delicious speck, sausage with the inevitable cured and spatzle with ham and cream. the homemade pasta, despite the inviting name and the beautiful presentation in the dish, does not even remember far our Italian pasta. overall experience was positive. worthy of note is the service, fast and accompanied by continuous smiles. the prices are typically Swiss, that is, medium-small portions and, in proportion, high average prices. water, as an oual abroad, is expensive.
