I had a delicious white pizza with caramelized onions and roasted red peppers, generously drizzled in olive oil. The service was impeccable thanks to the lovely Becky. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Max And Leo's Pizza Sudbury:
I have visited this restaurant multiple times and they are consistently late with the food. They tell you it will be ready in 15 minutes, but you end up waiting for at least a half hour. Additionally, the pizza always comes out charred. This will be the last time I visit this restaurant. View all feedback.
I live in Stow and often go past here on my way home from work. Lately most Pizza I have been trying has been amazingly frugal on the cheese. Not here, a nice balance of sauce and cheese. The crust was a little burnt in a few spots but nothing that would prevent me from ordering again. I had pepperoni, mushroom, and roasted red pepper. Also, the pizza was ready fairly quickly on a weekend. Staff was pleasant on the phone and when I picked it up. Overall, a pretty good pizza.
Coal fired pizza? Who knew?!?!I've heard of and enjoyed wood fired pizza but the thought of coal fired pizza sounded foreign.I'm here to tell anyone who is questioning coal fired pizza, You should definitely give it a try We started the meal with the Mixed Mesclun Greens which is in the top 5 of salads that I've ever eaten if not the best ever. Followed by the Brooksy pizza, which was excellent. This my sound odd but both my wife and I tasted burnt marshmallows when eating the crust. It sounds odd but was refreshing and led to her requesting my crust when I was done with a slice. The atmosphere was quiet on a Sunday afternoon and the food was excellent. If you haven't tried Max Leo's you should definitely stop by the next time you are in the vicinity of Sudbury.
Love the pizza here! Get the Mikey sooooooo much pepperoni! Crust is amazing
As always, the pizza is really good, as are the salads. The rigatoni is welcome addition to the menu. But the portobello mushroom tacos are great! One is filling but two make a meal. There aren't many places to recommend outside the Boston area (as snobby as that sounds.. but I'd easily return to this small restaurant and even try the one in Newton. (Not sure if they're the same menu yet, though).
I really enjoyed the pizza and the variety of domestic beers at this restaurant. The service was great, and I had a nice dinner experience. Prices ranged from $10 to $20 per person. I would give the food a rating of 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 4.
