San Churro Cockburn - SUCCESS

While the food was yummy, unfortunately I feel the need to write a negative review due to the service in the hopes that you will invest in some customer training for your staff! There were 7 people on when I was there, (one trainee), and one poor, harried looking supervisor holding up the fort, and an empty restaurant, save for the customers who had been waiting too long for how many staff were working. I waited 25min for churros for two, and in that time observed multiple complaints and two requests for a refund. The restaurant was no where near as busy as it should have been for a wait that long! It’s a shame because the menu is lovely and so is the food! There needed to be a bit more of a team effort somewhere, because it just wasn’t great. As someone who worked in hospo for 8+ years, it was painful to watch. Please invest in training your staff better and having them uphold a higher standard!

Talia was attentive to our needs without being overbearing and we had some obscure requests which she accommodated where she was able too. Service like this in Perth is uncommon. If I could give the service a zero, I would! The look on the face of the service person was so ugh, customers are beneath me . Other service people were serving food and drinks and asking the customers if that was what they ordered. Our drinks were cold (literally) so they reheated them in the microwave. Then when we asked which was which (as multiple people had the same drink) and she pretended like she knew and dragged them across the table. When we refused these and said it wasn 't good enough, fresh ones were made and they were even colder. A new low for a hot chocolate when it feels like it came out of the fridge. Churros also cold and we asked for fresh ones. It has been 20 mins+ and we are still waiting. Just went and asked and they forgot to remake them. Please don 't bother asking me to send you an email about this issue, if you are actually interested in rectifying please invest in training your staff. If you 'd like to contact me, just leave a reply message. I came here tonight for a nice dessert with my family, and left disappointed...AGAIN!

At off peak hours the service took over 15 min for just a scoop of scrambled icecream and a croffle which was not fresh. The place has a very dirty floor and don’t be surprised to see a cockroach come say hi Disappointed, will not go here again.
