We decided to dine at Subiaco because we had just taken an overseas friend to King's Park. Not having any idea where to eat, we decided to google and found this restaurant. We were all game for Korean food so we headed there and were not disappointed. Although they had a BBQ buffet, we were not really hungry so we opted for the Combo meal which consisted of 2 meats, rice, miso soup, and side vegetables. The meal was... View all feedback.

Something different cooking your own, so it was fresh. There was a buffet of vegetables and fresh seafood. You then cook at your table so it is BBq style. There is a soup to go with it all. View all feedback.
The food and service were great. I enjoyed being able to cook my own meal. My dad also had a fantastic time, as he had never been there before. It was a very happy experience for both of us.
I can see why some people might have some fun but I probably wouldn't bother going back. I think you need to know what you are signing up to. We had a group of but that means a line of small round tables with...two or three people on each. It's noisy as well so you can only really talk to your neighbours. The whole process of getting up and down all the time is very disturbing to relaxing conversation. There is some help but it is easy to overcook or undercook the food both on the hotplate or in the steamboat. There are lots and lots of ingredients but who knows what sauce is meant to what with what things and what some of the stranger bits and pieces are. The place gets smoky and doesn't seem very well ventilated. The airflow meant that when we put on a steamboat, the chicken stock vapour was steaming my shirt up and warming up my wine. Clothes straight in the wash on arrival home. At one stage they propped the front door open for ventilation but didn't shift the smokers standing in the doorway dumb! The lady next to me just had multiple plates of entree things. I can see the merit. It's already cooked and there was a tasty selection. Service was attentive though and they would help with tips and keeping a bit of an eye on the barbecue process. Mid-week it is only so cheap (but you wouldn't look around at the decor and think otherwise). On the whole though, don't go if you think eating out should involve someone doing clever things in the kitchen and waitstaff bringing out lovely dishes for you and your dining companions to enjoy over a glass of wine and some bubbly conversation.
Used a voucher to visit this well located Subiaco Korean Restaurant. Service was wonderful yet not overpowering. Meal was delicious and particularly enjoyed the Steamboat with generous servings of juicy King Prawns and fresh vegetables. This owner's twin brother also owns the very successful and...popular Korean Seoul BBQ in Victoria Park and promises to be equally as successful. We will definately return and recommend this delightful restaurant to our friends and family. Good value, great service, ideal location.
This buffet offers a variety of traditional marinated meats and pickled side dishes. You can grill your own food at your table. The staff is very friendly and attentive. They also have hot pot available, although we didn't have room to try it. Overall, a great discovery.
After taking our overseas friend to King's Park, we decided to dine at Subiaco. Unsure of where to eat, we turned to Google and came across this restaurant. All in the mood for Korean food, we were pleasantly surprised by our experience. Despite the tempting BBQ buffet, we opted for the Combo meal which included meats, rice, miso soup, and side vegetables. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were generous for the reasonable price. We will definitely be returning in the future.
