Mister Gills - Subiaco

Luncheon for 4. Staff were smiley and informative. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meal. Very satisfied with the service and the food.

Mister Gill's is a fabulous addition to dining on Rokeby Road. We sat inside at the bar (2 of us) as it was a bit chilly, but I do look forward to sitting outside on a balmy evening. To begin we ordered white anchovies (a favourite of mine which didn't disappoint). The fish main was delightful (Whiting), but a small serving and only served with a wedge of lemon. The chips were extra, very hot and crunchy. We also had a green salad with avocado dressing which was good. Add 2 glasses of wine and we didn't get any change from $100! Quite expensive for a mid-week fish chips. I'm not sure I'd come here regularly as our local Fish Chips (takeaway) is pretty good and a third of the cost!

Awesome place, walked down because Juanita's was full outside. So great to have another option by the awesome Juanita's owners. Many thanks and we will be back many times for sure.

Takeaway cod and chips was excellent. Thick and juicy beer battered fish with crunchy chips, well done!

Best fish and chips in Perth. And the cook makes a mean **** Mary...
