The food was good the waiters were really nice the atmosphere was great and very relaxing and I loved it
One of those restaurants that thinks it 's OK to present unrequested bread at the table as if it 's free. When you question... no, it goes on the bill sir. Sad, and gets the sitting off to a bad start. Staff that served us were also awful, to the point of petulance, when querying a drink being served. A disappointing experience.
We checked his restaurant out yesterday and established that they do the 'menu del dia ' between 2 4 pm, but we needed to reserve. We did so, and had a really good experience. The decor and table settings were smart and worthy of a upscale venue., the staff were polite and we 'll trained. We had difficulty understanding the Spanish word for artichoke, but they wrote down the options. We had the artichoke with langostine the marisco soup for starters both delicious and we 'll presented (quite filling). Both of us had merluza rellena (stuffed hake) for mains a regional specialty. It looked tasted amazing with a pre peeled langostine sitting pretty on top. Options for dessert included a wonderfully light Sorbet and a queso Tarta served with flakes of dark chocolate. The price of €29 each included a bottle of wine and a chilled bottle of water. Looking around us, the most popular option for those going a la carte seemed to be the paella. I would rate the marisco sopa as a particularly memorable 10/10 and everything else was excellent. I would love to go back there again!
We had a lovely dinner last night. We ordered a few starters to share, two fish dishes and a mea dish. I fully recommend el rodaballo (brill) and las brochetas de rape y gambas (monkfish and prawn skewer) Make sure you leave space to try “la tarta de la abuela”. Excellent value for money! I fully recommend it
