On this occasion we were unfortunately placed in the small back room with a much louder and larger party. Atmosphere issues aside, both of our steaks were cooked incorrectly; one overcooked and and one undercooked. Just an overall bad experience without many redeeming factors. We got in town and called to make a reservation and they said the first available was at 8:30. We thanked them and said that we would come again. Started looking for another place for dinner and about 15 minutes later Chives called back andsaid that they had a cancellation and could take us at 7:15. I call that above and beyond customer service. The meal did notdisappoint. We were told by locals that this was the place to go and wow, were they right. One word to describe thisplace?..amazing! And I have one word for you the reader of this review??GO!! You will love Chives!!
