Being served by a native Italian at an italian restaurant gives me the reassurance of the food quality. And when this restaurant was recommended by an Italian himself, it was too good to miss. We enjoyed ourselves and were given a nice corner table secluded...from the noise of the main area of the restaurant since we were travelling with two babies. The servers are very attentive and polite and the food is excellent. We had a mixture of pizza and pasta to give a it a good mix. The portions were significant but we squeezed some space for desert. The Tiramisu was good.

This place does a fantastic job making real Italian food in a city full of germanized italian joints. The ingredients are alwsys fresh, the staff is friendly, and they even have a terrace for when the weather is nice. Inside is a little dark, but...the real draw here is the food, not the ambiance.

I visited vivaldi with my family and we all had an excellent Italian dinner. special highlights were the main meal that was three types of pasta dishes in a back dish that were all baked next to each other (as to try brilliant...pasta dishes in one session), and the tiramisu was also perfect.
