In the rooms of the earlier point, in which the center of the spot reder bach (where the whs and some other institutions are at home) the rudolf has opened at the beginning of the year. so called after the local rudolf sophienstift, where mentally ill are in the middle. the rudolfs is therefore integrated, but, as it is emphasized, no experiment! the location is very beautiful: over wide glass fronts they have a view of the red stream. that's a little urban. u bahn and s bahn keep almost in the cellar, the shopping mile begins only a few minutes further. the place is bright, with attractive wood, friendly design. all foods are constantly freshly prepared as they want to wait for more. breakfast is available from 9 o'clock. divine: the pasta with mandelpesto (on request gluten-free). some vegetarian food. great pie buffet. freshly brewed fair coffee. a little deterrent, however, is the receiving strut at the entrance, which acts like a barrier. here you get the money card that is calculated at the end. closed on Sunday.

Rudolfs is a cafe and restaurant different from most. It is staffed by those needing help getting back on the right path so the restaurant functions differently. When you enter you get a chip card. Your order is recorded to the card. When you leave, the card is read and you pay. The food is buffet style with a choice of about 6 main courses. Vegan and vegetarian choices make up about half the menu. I visited later in the afternoon, about 1330, and that was probably not the best time. Food had been prepared for a while by then and the vegetables were over cooked.

The restaurant is located right inside the same building that houses the Volkshochule Stuttgart making it an ideal place to go to for a quick drink before the class or lunch after class.

I'm always very happy to read some hours in the Rudolfs. The food is very diverse, of good quality and always very tasty. The staff is always very friendly and professional. The price performance ratio is excellent and finally it must be mentioned that the hygiene concept is implemented very carefully there.

Friendly, clean, accommodating. Warm food is late. Fresh and warm from the kitchen.
