Restaurant Hohencafe Killesberg

After walking in the park, this place was one of two options. Chose this one because it was indoors. Enjoyed a few glasses of wine with bread and cheese It was a good place to relax While I'm still not a huge fan of German...wine, I enjoyed sampling them. Server spoke English, which helped me out. Best part is the wines were half price. Not sure if it was happy hour, but it was a pleasant surprise.

Really by accident we have found this restaurant after we walked around in the surrounding park Killesberg. Don't expect haute cuisine, but honest German food (schnitzel), salads, but also vegetarian options. Price/quality is good Also the second time we went there after a long trip...because we knew already where to find it, and didn't get disappointed (We visited Stuttgart twice as a stop on our journey)

Just a few meters from tennis event there is a great park called Hohen, with its restaurant Hohencafe. Enjoy the silence and views.

Visited Killesberg over the weekend and decided to have lunch at the HohenCafe before walking around the park. We had a steak salad and schnitzel with fries. The food was good, service was quick and pleasant. The best part is the outside dining on a...beautiful day.

In the Killesberg Park on the upper level near the Aussichtsturm. We stopped here for lunch during our Hop-On-Hop-Off bus tour. The service was average, though the staff were pleasant when they attended us. The food was excellent. The Cheese Spaetzle was a huge portion...and very delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meals The kids all wanted a Sunny Car. It was a bit of a con for the small amount of ice cream it contained, but the kids did love the cars to play with though they were easily broken with use. We were there on a cold and windy day but still able to eat outside and it was a lovely setting, The kids enjoyed picking up the chairs that blew over, bless them. I am sure this is busy in the Summer, but do also eat there at other times, it was worth it.
