The only downside was the level of service once we got past the main meal. This seems to be a pattern in most restaurants, and this one was no exception. We were not asked about desserts or whether we wanted to order more drinks. I had to ask for the bill a few times. This really spoilt the overall experience.

Shortly after our arrival, the children received crayons to color in. The prices are reasonable for the location and the service.

We waited over 45... read more The good location and pleasant ambiance unfortunately couldn't compensate for the slow and inattentive service, nor the poor value for money. We waited over 45 minutes for three main courses, some of which were from the lunch menu. The salad was swimming in dressing, and the promised antipasti were only found after a careful search. The rösti deserves a much shorter name. Some of the drinks arrived after the food. The selection of cakes looked very tempting, but we didn't have time to try them. If you have other plans, you should probably avoid eating here.

Unfortunately, there were no salt shakers or pepper mills on the table, even though the food could have used a bit more seasoning. The staff tried hard but were inattentive. The elegant ambiance, however, is appealing.

The Göppingen venison had at most a graze wound and was surely still in excellent health. It was just gravy without meat. If 25g of meat was used, that was a lot. At €36, it was no longer reasonable value for money.
