No... read more Nice interior, good food and wine, friendly waitress. Not overpriced. Packed - even on a Monday night. So all in all a very good place to have japanese food. Not sure whether a Japanese person would judge the same, but I am not Japanese.Recommend this place for a gathering where food, ambience and service are well balanced.

It... read more Several of my coworker decided to visit Mikoto, since are all new to Germany from the U. S. and I must admit we had an awesome time, the sushi was very good. It's a good thing I went with a group of friends because I was able to sample their dish as well, so the next time I come I will try other dishes and sushi. We had a friendly waiter who showed us nothing but excellent customer service. It's a clean place with a nice atmosphere. I would truly visit again.

I usually don’t reserve but this time I was forced to sit on a high stool and table (meant for people waiting for their seats) even though a lot of tables were empty. The food was ok, the staff from really nice to absolutely ignorant (especially the guy at reception). All in all good food but need better organisation. Perhaps now that they are real owned they can afford to be rude:

Ordered salad, Sushi, Tempura Udon and desserts. Salad excellent, sushi mediocre, udon good but tempura overcooked, desserts fantastic. Condiments not of good quality. Red wine was off, but was replaced with a glass from a new bottle immediately. Very friendly service. Good restaurant if you know what to order... Would return but definitely not order Sushi.
