His heart is definitely in the right place, and his hospitality is reminiscent of that of a Southern European—open-minded and positive. This unique café is designed like a living room. Everyone will feel right at home here. Every room exudes a certain calm and soothes the soul, reflecting a bygone era. The double espresso is world-class, and the chai is a standout. A little tip: Stroll through the outdoor area and marvel at the Baroque architecture, or lose track of time in the vintage room. When you walk in you are immed... read more This unassuming cafe is located on the block in a residential area of Stuttgart within walking distance of the main thoroughfare. When you walk in you are immediately greeted and welcomed warmly. Place your order for a great espresso and go make yourself at home in the back. I honestly don't speak German, but my companion did, so he ordered for me-and it didn't disappoint! It was a spicy potato with a sour cream sauce and a fresh green salad with a Goddess like dressing. Everything blended together in a great taste and filled me up. The cappuccino is superb and the home-y accommodations make this place great! I love the divey feel and can't wait to make my way back to Stuttgart to try out more of the daily specials!

There are three different rooms: one with a long wooden table and some tall standing tables, one with pillows to sit on the floor, and one with a large high table. Lunch is €7.50 per option. I had a classic salad with tuna and both of my friends got the veggie curry. I also highly recommend the raspberry cheesecake dessert. Plus, each table is fully stocked with fresh, complimentary bread!
