NEUER INDER! Einfach super! Wir kennen das Kashmir aus Leinfelden und sind begeistert, dass es nun ein weiteres in unserer Nähe gibt. Wir sind vorher extra 40min one way gefahren um gut und authentisch indisch essen zu können. Dies ist nicht das komische indische Restaurant, welches vorher drin war. ... Aromen die die Geschmackskonspoen rottieren lassen. Aber leider war von all dem nichts zu merken. Den krönenden Anfang hat ein junger Mann, so ca. 8-10 Jahre - mit Kellnerschürze gekleidet - gebracht. Als mein Kollege nach seinem Wasser gefragt hat, meinte dieser "Der Idiot muss noch die Zitrone schneiden". Dieses Lokal hat für mich zuviel Ungereimtheiten. Wiederholungsfaktor 0%.

Response to The Restaurant 's comment: Considering your immaturity as you displayed yesterday, I expected you to embrace lies and manipulation. So here is my response to your lies: 1. I REQUESTED the waiter in the most polite way to kindly get the water as soon as possible as we were very thirsty!! 2. I REQUESTED while placing the order that we want Still Water at NORMAL TEMPERATURE. I even went ahead and explained that we had Cold a few days back and that 's why we can 't have cold water. The waiter by mistake got COLD water. He himself realized the mistake and before we could say something, he went back and got the bottle that was not cold. During all this, the waiter behaved in a very professional way. 3. The problem started when we said we want to pack things. What happned then onwards, I have already explained it. 4. I decided to post this comment only because the manager himself turned out to be most immature. As it is my right to comment my experience, it is the right of the restaurant to give a response. So, I can 't do anything if they lie and want to portray us as unprofessional. However, I want people to know two things: 1. I had given a review for Kashmir-Echterdingen Branch from around A YEAR EARLIER. The 5-Star review reads: Only authentic Indian restaurant I have found in Stuttgart!!... especially so many varieties of starters!!.. all the dishes were great. Staff is also very friendly! Due to policy guideline I can 't attach the screenshot. But you can clearly see it in my profile. 2. I hardly give reviews. People can see in my profile that I have given only around 8 reviews in total!! However I give reviews when I am extremely satisfied OR extremely dissatisfied. So you will find the reviews where I am praising with 5 starts, or where I am narrating a pathetic incident with 1 star. So I request people to have a look at what I have mentioned in Point 1 Point 2 here, and decide for themselves what might have happened in reality. I DON 'T HAVE ANY PLANS OF RESPONDING TO ANY MORE LIES FROM THE RESTAURANT. REVIEWS ARE MEANT TO HELP PEOPLE. LET PEOPLE JUDGE IT THEMSELVES. Original Review: This is supposed to be one of the best Indian restaurants Stuttgart. However, the branch in Weilimdorf (Pforzheimer Str. 309) has a way of spoiling the entire mood through their cheap behaviour, despite providng tasty food. I have seen this many times here at this restaurant but this time I felt they sank to a new low. I had gone for dinner with my wife as we wanted to celebrate something. We ordered more than enough food for two people which you can see in the bill attached. However in the end the manager refused to provide sufficient packing containers to carry home the left over food!! In the pics you can see that I was not asking for any fancy container. First they said, we can provide only one small container. Then they said we can give you two samll containers but a big one will cost you. All this while the manager was giving non sensical reasons like 'containers cost us money ', 'we don 't provide container to carry rice because we give it as complimentary ' etc. I have been in Stuttgart sice 2018 and go out to restaurants atleast 4 times in a week. However, in no elegant restaurant I have seen such a cheap behaviour irrespective of the cuisine. Moreover literally every Indian restaurant gives rice when you order a gravy dish from main course. So it is in no way complimentary. It will be even written on the menu that everything is served with rice!! Finally they said we can give you big container this time but next time we will charge as if they were doing a huge favour. So, I refused and told then that as they believe that they are right, put that in my bill and I will pay for it. You can see in the picture of the bill that they have charged me 1.5 Euros for the container. It was never about money. It is about certain things that you expect from an elegant restaurant. Unfortunately, Kashmir Restaurant wants to be considered as elegant while acting like a cheap take away place!!!
Recommended by a Indian friend and it was a nice experience. All food were delicious. Fish Tikka was the favorite.
The food was brilliant. It cme quickly and was delicious. They were considerate of individuals' tolerance to spice which was a nice touch. They were accomodating to us when we had to leave early, helping us take the rest of our food away with us and splitting the bill between us with no issues at all. We even got a free Shnaps on the way out. What more could you want from your restaurant experience? Thank you Team Kashmir!
Not a great location but the restaurant is pleasant and spacious. Apparently the restaurant closes at 23:00 and the kitchen at 22:00. I arrived at 21:45 but the waiter was really pushy and rude about ordering ASAP. The waiters in general were more interested in going home than offering a good service. They were rude and not at all attentive. On the upside the food was very good. The huge garlic naan was one of the best I have ever eaten. Madras was about the right heat and the chicken was of good quality. For as good as the food was it's hard to recommend a restaurant where good service and politeness is a very low priority for the serving staff.
