Cochin 1982 is situated in the heart of Stuttgart on Schulstraße, also known as "Fressgasse" due to its concentration of restaurants, near the shopping street Königstraße. The restaurant has a charming interior with original Vietnamese decor. The menu offers around three labeled vegan options and a few starters, but could have more variety. Two out of the three vegan dishes are served cold - I tried the sushi bowl and my friend had a cold stir fry resembling pad thai. The food was decent but not outstanding. Personally, I prefer other Vietnamese restaurants, such as Hanoi in the eastern part of Stuttgart, which offer better value for money. The prices at Cochin 1982 are higher and the portion sizes smaller compared to similar restaurants.
We had cocktails at this restaurant and it was fantastic. The atmosphere was great, and the food was delicious.
