The food was outstanding. We had put this restaurant on our list for a weekend getaway, and I'm so glad we chose to come here. I can confidently say that the food was among the best we've ever experienced. I live in a city with a population of 100,000, and this place outshone all our local restaurants. We made an online reservation for Sunday night, although it wasn't necessary; we did it just to be safe. The staff were incredibly friendly, which made our dining experience quite enjoyable. However, it took 45 minutes for our food to arrive, which I usually don’t pay much attention to, but with only two other tables occupied in the restaurant, it felt a bit unusual. Our experience started with our hostess helping us to a better table to accommodate our elderly parents. Thank you! It was very busy and our food was delayed. Our waiter, Benjamin kept us updated on our order. At one point he brought edamame for our table. He kept us laughing and made the very best of a difficult situation. My in-laws can’t wait to return. The entire Crate team did a great job. The food was wonderful as well!
Food and presentation were outstanding. Service was impeccable. One our favorite places to dine in Door County!

We loved the ambiance. Our server Dan was attentive to our toddler and anticipated her needs. The dood was delicious. It was the dish fry we had been craving to end our vacation week.
Only giving one star because the service was excellent from Cara. The New York strip says Market price which came out to be $50 on the tab, for the size steak $50 certainly was not market price. The steak was extremely rare when we ordered it medium rare ,it was still cold in the middle and flavorless . They brought it back to the kitchen and it came back the exact same way. Icould have spent $20 on the same quality and size steak cooked better at home if I would have known. The drinks were veryflavorless. Would not return or recommend
