The place is beautiful and clean. The weekend is busy as usual. The staff is friendly, but the service is slow perhaps because they were few employees. The food is good I guess they forget to give salad dressing when we order Salmon salad. I like my waffles, but fried chicken is too fat. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Six Chow House:
Turkey sloppy Joe Sliders were delicious!! The pommes were boiled. My friends ordered pizza and both didn't cost it and said it was too soft. Other friends order the chicken and waffles, says that was good. The banana cake was a hit! View all feedback.
I love this place. Feels like a high end pub with great food! My man and I went were obsessed with the crispy Brussels and the buffalo cauliflower bites! He had the burger which looked delicious and I had the the grilled salmon and it was one of the best salmon salads I've ever had. 10/10 recommend. And I have already gone again and had the burger myself! A must try on Ventura.
I went for brunch on the Monday falling Mother's Day. It was quiet. I went my family, including my 83-year-old grandmother. It was very slow and we were seated right away. We tried the mimosas and sangria. My mimosa was refreshing. I ordered the drunken burger and my grandmother ordered the six Burger. Let's just say my 83 year old grandmother was very picky about her burger. Our waiter did not disappoint. He was very patient with her order and understanding. He didn't disappoint. My grandmother enjoyed her burger, as well did I. That burger was cooked perfect. The pretzel tart for dessert was phenomenal!
Stopped by due to good reviews, but was awfully disappointed. For the location, I expected much more. The concept of the restaurant and the aesthetic is nice, but if you're one to notice details, I wouldn't recommend Upon our arrival, we were greeted by the host and seated immediately (we had a reservation). She was a total sweetheart. 5 stars to her! She was super attentive, accommodating, and overall pleasant throughout our visit. The floors outside on the patio (street side) are unevenly paved, so when they hose down the area, there are puddles all over the place and the smell of dirty/ wet concrete is in the air. There were spiderwebs and just looked underwhelming in general. I asked to be moved inside. We sat indoors, in the middle section. It wasn't super clean but it was better. There was hair stuck on the tables, before the surface was glazed (or whatever they did to get the tops glossy). The plates were dirty crumbs and dried pieces of cilantro perhaps. The coffee wasn't bad. We ordered a Moscow mule and Sangria, not bad! For breakfast we had: the chicken flatbread (yummy), the spinach omelette (delicious), and the eggs in a frame (good, but too sweet for me). Overall, the food was pretty tasty and worth a try. However, by the time we got our food, my appetite was mostly gone due to the lack of cleanliness. Our waiter, Juan, was also great. He was extremely attentive and polite! 5 stars to the staffAnother random observation I made was that the plating is much too small in comparison to the food. It was not comfortable to eat
Hard to compare to so many eateries in the Studio City area, however my experience gives 4 stars. Came in for a business lunch. Ordered The Drunken Burger, The Pepperoni Pizza and The Chicken Caesar. By all reports, everything was enjoyed. The pizza was average at best. Very floppy and greasy. Will not be ordering that again. The ambiance is the real winner. Great outdoor patio thankfully has stayed since it's inception during Covid. Pricing is average for this area. The staff was efficient and friendly
Loved the ambience as it is a very picture worthy place. Came here with my partner and his family to enjoy dinner before flying bsck to NorCal.My partner's burger is so juicy and tender. My duck was cooked perfectly and went well with the side of potatoes. The star of the show was the truffle pizza though Need to get that next time around
