8oz Poke - STUDIO CITY

The restaurant is located in a strip mall along a busy road. I've eaten here a few times now and have found it to be quite good. You go up and place your order while making your way down the line, and they offer a variety of options to choose from. I opted for salmon, tuna, and octopus on rice, and I added a lot of toppings and sauces. Next time, I think I’ll try a different sauce, as the house sauce didn't quite have enough flavor for my taste. The staff behind the counter were always friendly and provided excellent recommendations when asked.

The yellowtail is definitely the highlight of the meal! The 8 oz portion is fantastic, and they will gladly prepare it for you upon request.

I've been here a couple of times, maybe three, and while it's not terrible, it certainly isn't fresh or particularly good. The restaurant is located in a strip mall where about 75% of the other shops have gone out of business, so at least there's plenty of parking available. The portion sizes are small, and prices are higher than those at better poke places around the city. The staff seems inexperienced, and honestly, I’m surprised this place is still open. My advice? Try another poke restaurant. If you do decide to eat here, make sure you have good health insurance.
