**Cons:** However, the $4.50 peach cobbler was a huge letdown. It was more like a brick than any cobbler I’ve ever had, with maybe three slices of peaches and no juice whatsoever. To make matters worse, it was nearly frozen! Thankfully, I had a microwave, but I ended up throwing away about 99% of it.
**Summary:** Definitely go for the meat but skip the dessert! Here are some pictures.
What can I say about this place. It is a awesome place to go to get some good barbecue. I always get the sliced pork or the sliced pork sandwich. They have the best pork, and if I’m ever in Stuart I try to go there and pick up a meal to go to bring home to eat. The price is really good for what you get. Yes it has increased in price. I believe a little bit from a year or so ago, but it is definitely still worth the meal. Also, the staff that work there are very friendly and very courteous. I wish I could give them more than five stars. But anytime I’m in the neighborhood. I try to stop and get a meal from there. I wish we had a barbecue place like this in my hometown. Keep up the awesome work and I’ll see you again for my next meal.
The best BBQ around! Had lunch here today and very clean restaurant. Brandi was the best, she took care of everything and recommended the baby back ribs! The meat was falling of the bone. The bake beans were also good. Oh and don’t forget the salad bar? Remember those! Enjoy…
This place is great! we have always gotten friendly fast service there and the food is always good, the only thing I see wrong is maybe give a little bit more of that good BBQ on the pulled pork plates, it is a small portion but again really good, the sides are great portions. I like the fact that when you walk in everyone is nice and you have a server at your table within a few mins of sitting down. We go here often.
The chicken was delicious and the ribs were also. The only thing we didn't care for was the cornbread which was way to sweet and we didn't feel it was cooked all the way, there should be a bit of grittiness to it. I liked the coleslaw but my husband thought it needed more horseradish. We will definitely be going back.
We finally got a chance to try it today. And it was worth the wait! The meats are perfectly smoked (we had brisket, pork and chicken) and absolutely delectable. We have had our fair share of smoked meats over the years and Stuart Fish Pig is some of the best. I have tried a few other BBQ places in Stuart, in my quest to find a go-to BBQ place. Everyone else serves their meats covered in sauces, but at Stuart Fish Pig, the meat stands on its own. And it stands head and shoulder above everything else in town. The staff are super friendly! Cant wait to go back.
