The food at this restaurant is amazing! Everything is made to order, so the wait is definitely worth it. We were visiting from California to Illinois for school and restaurant hopping, and the city, in general, was the highlight of our trip. My fiancé adored the grilled cheese and well-seasoned fries, while I couldn't get enough of the Philly cheesesteak sandwich. We would definitely eat here again and maybe even gra... Good food, a bit slow. Group of 8 and one didn't get food with other 7. I think they forgot but they didn't explain, apologize or offer discount. Not too impressed with the service. View all feedback.
Good burgers, service was good. Typical bar fare cheese curds are ok, onion rings were better.
Best grilled tenderloin sandwich that I have had in many years. Great place to stop for lunch.
Came during RAGBRAI '24 and the place was full but the staff was small. The staff was absolutely doing the best they could with what they had. Ordered a patty melt and the hamburger meat didn 't have flavor. Had the mixed sampler and it was okay. Small place but was loud in volume.
Amazing small town bar and grill. Great service. The food is home made and tastes great. Always a favorite place to go.
Sweet homey spot a couple minutes off the interstate worth the time to stop. Exceptionally friendly service. The menu offers more than the typical bar and grill. We ordered starters and meals, each were delivered timely and as advertised on the menu. Look forward to stopping again.
