We wanted something different we this stopped and when we went in there were 2 people that greeted us. There was the dessert right there. They had lots different cheesecake and the chocolate cake. The atmosphere was great. Music was playing. All people were satisfied. The two staff ladies were awesome they were always on it right away no matter if you needed something or if you're ready to order they were right on it... View all feedback.
What Babs Smith doesn't like about City Diner Of Stuart:
Good food BUT not great service . Been here several times and there’s only one or two good servers, the other ones disappear and never come back once you get your food. Then you have to hunt them down for a drink refill AND your check. Sad to say people like that make the restaurant look bad. View all feedback.

The two staff were just so awesome and even thoughthe restaurant was kind of busy they always made sure that they just got everything done. Oh and the cake was divine.
First of all, I don?t blame our waitress. (Even if she was unfriendly and made no suggestions) I read a great review about this place and hoped I would not be one of the ones with a negative experience. I ordered The Mayor sandwich. It was terrible. Not at all what I expected. Tasted like I was eating a cheap hot dog on a stale hoagie roll. My daughter had the chicken pot pie. She did not like it. After 1 bite I put my dish at the end of the table. It was so bad! We ended upeating the crust off the pot pie because the waitress didn?t come back to our table for 17 minutes and we were desperate. Finally she came back and asked us if we wanted boxes. I said no and told her I took 1 bite of my sandwich andcouldn?t eat it. I didn?t have the heart to tell her the pot pie was bad as well. She asked me if I would like something else to eat and I told her no, not anymore. (Lost my appetite after 20 mins and pot pie crust) I said we would likesome dessert though. And coffee too! We got the Chocolate Chip Cheese Cake and the Rice Pudding and both were actually pretty good. But I never did get the coffee I asked for. Our Ice Teas were also never refilled. Again, I do not blame thewaitress as she was the only waitress there. There were 6 tables she was serving, one of which was a 9 top of high school students and she had ZERO support. The bus lady (who I think was actually the dishwasher) could not have been lessinterested. There was another waitress there when we got there, but she left soon after. And the 2 guys in the kitchen didn?t seem to notice anything at all. Definitely not worth the $40 we paid to sit there for over an hour. I gave 2 starsbecause the dessert was good and I don?t blame the waitress for the bad service. I had hoped this could be a fun place to take my daughter occasionally on the weekend for a late night meal, but I?m sorry to say we won?t be back and I cannotrecommend it to anyone else.
Our first time here. Our server Andrea was friendly, offered great suggestions and was very attentive. We got the pierogis Appetizer which was delicious, didn't taste like frozen kind. Topped with grilled onions. I had a short Stack of pancakes and a grilled cheese on sourdough bread with French fries. Pancakes are thicker more of a cake-like style. Grilled cheese fries were fresh and delicious. My husband had the meatloaf dinner with mashed potatoes and fresh grilledmixed vegetables. Very tasty. No complaints. Everything was delicious. Service was fantastic. No room for desserts but the generous offering of cakes, pies and pastries looked delectable. Restaurant was clean including the rest rooms. Wewere visiting the area for business but would definitely go back. Thanks Andrea.
Food and service was fantastic as usual. Kudos to our server Tiffany who is always friendly and does a great job no matter how busy she is!!!!
?????Just had an egg-ceptional breakfast from City Diner, and I'm over-easy with excitement to share my experience! Their egg plates are no yolk – they truly crack the code of breakfast perfection. The bacon was sizzling with flavor, and the sausage was absolutely grill-iant.And let's toast to their gluten-free bread! It's the best thing since, well, sliced bread – but gluten-free! It's rare to find a place that caters so well to those of us on a gluten-free diet, but City Diner rises to the occasion. In short, if you're scrambling for a delicious breakfast, look no further. City Diner will have you bacon for more. It's a feast fit for a king, and I'm not sausaging this up. ??Order up, folks! This diner is truly a hidden gem in the heart of our city.
