Contribute FeedbackAnthony's Coal Fired offers a diverse dining experience, though reviews reflect some inconsistencies. While many patrons celebrate the accommodating service and prompt delivery of delicious food, critiques emerge regarding the pizza, which falls short in both texture and flavor, particularly in a competitive culinary market. Reservation challenges persist, with reports of miscommunication creating frustration for diners. Despite a few culinary missteps, including uneven pasta preparation, standout dishes like wings and the Anthony’s Favorite sandwich earn praise. Overall, the restaurant shines with friendly, professional staff, making it a potential go-to for casual dining.
The pizza was underwhelming. The crust was not as crispy as we had hoped for from a coal-fired oven, and the taste of the crust did not match its appearance. This pizza would not survive in the competitive New York market.
I put my name on a waiting list at Anthony's just in case they were fully booked, but when we arrived we were seated immediately. The waitresses were busy, so the manager took our order and made sure we had everything we needed for a pleasant evening since we had our grandson with us. The waitress later took care of us and we enjoyed our visit. We plan on going back again in the future.
Server was excellent. Only complaint, some of the pasta was cooked edible and some was beyond Al Dente. Seemed like a mixture of cooked uncooked pasta. Not consistent throughout
My daughter and her husband were visiting, so we enjoyed a wonderful pre-Super Bowl lunch as a family. The food was fantastic.
Our daughter was in town with her husband so we had a lovely family âpre-Super Bowlâ lunch. Food was great.
