In order to get to this location, it is necessary to have a car. The hotel is quite beautiful, cozy, and has lovely grounds. The shower is small, so if you need more space, it may not be suitable. The breakfast provided is excellent, and the staff are all very friendly and accommodating, although the atmosphere is somewhat formal. The restaurant is not recommended outside of breakfast hours, as it is expensive, serves small portions, and the descriptions of the dishes are inaccurate. It is suggested to go into town for a better dining experience, as there are plenty of options available.
From the moment we walked through the front door and were greeted by Wendy, we knew we were in for a treat at this restaurant. Every aspect of our short stay and private dining experience was flawless, from the reception to the check-out. Our room was lovely, as were the surrounding grounds. The drink selection was impressive, though we did miss having a real ale option. The bar service to the cozy lounge was excellent, and the warm fire added to the inviting atmosphere. Our meal and private dining experience were outstanding, with Jonathan's wine recommendations being especially appreciated. The waiting staff were charming, polite, and very efficient. It's hard to find any faults with Burleigh Court, and I would highly recommend this fantastic establishment to anyone.
I had a fantastic stay at Burleigh Court! The food was absolutely delicious, and the wine selection was incredibly tasty. The service provided by the staff was highly professional and attentive, ensuring a memorable experience. The bed was incredibly comfortable, allowing me to relax and unwind. The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring the Cotswolds in a unique way. It truly made me feel like a privileged guest. I highly recommend Burleigh Court for anyone looking to have a delightful and relaxing stay while exploring the beautiful Cotswolds.
I just came back from a fantastic stay at this outstanding hotel. I will definitely be coming back.
We had a quick one night stay with our 2 Goldens which was our first time taking our dogs with us to a hotel, so we were a little anxious as we would hate to disturb other guests or annoy staff. However, we were welcomed by Wendy and Erin and they made us feel extremely comfortable, but also, that the dogs were a highlight of their day and that Burleigh Court was just as much for Brie and Bishop as it was for us. Erin was very kind, attentive and clearly loved dogs which made our time even better. She was a delight to be around, and our dogs appreciated her attention especially. Wendy was lovely to chat with, couldn’t do enough for us and helped make our dining experience in the evening even better when she arranged so that us and another family with a dog ate in separate areas so the dogs could relax while we ate. It took that extra bit of stress off our shoulders and that meant a lot. The room and hotel was beautiful, comfortable and cozy, and the food excellent, but it was the customer service from the staff that made it stand out. (The only thing we wished for was a fridge in the room to keep our dogs food in, if we had that it would have been perfect. A must stay if you’re looking to visit the area and have a fluffy family member with you!

A massive thanks to all those who have made my son and daughter a success in the high time of the law on Saturday. we thank many employees we saw on Saturday and Sunday morning, but we are aware that there are many more we have not seen. so they could please our thanks to all who have helped to make the day perfect, in front of the house and behind the scenes (kitchen and housekeeping, floormen etc.). I know it would have been a lot of work for everyone. we were made so welcome from the minute we arrived, and the staff went out of the way to take care of all the youngest (9 months old to the oldest (94) of the service we received from everyone felt so personal and it made everyone something special, not only the braut and the tantigam. eating was fantastic massive compliments to the cook(s). once again thank you for helping to make your special day perfect!
A beautifully decorated boutique hotel with all the warmth and charm of the cotswolds. delicious well presented kitchen and comfortable spacious bedroom with a lot of love for detail.
Absolutely amazing stay for our honeymoon, fantastic service by Daniel and everyone on the team. The main building is quintessentially British and the atmosphere is that of a great British house; grand fireplaces with fire cracking; delicious food and locally-produced honey; stunning views over the Golden Valley from some of the rooms including ours. Easy to go on walks from the site into Stroud, along the river and villages along the way. Highly recommended!
