I stumbled upon this amazing restaurant by chance and I'm so glad I did! The atmosphere was wonderful, the staff was very welcoming, and the food was absolutely fantastic. I will definitely be returning and can't recommend it enough. This place is a must-visit! View all feedback.
What Benjamin Pennington doesn't like about The Bell At Selsley:
Pretentious food, snooty vibe, tiny portions, little choice and wildly overpriced. There was only one vegetarian option on the menu, so we had to order that, and it was also the vegan option. It was a small bland pie with some spinach for £19 definitely not enough to fill you up, even with a side order of chips to supplement. Would not recommend. Service: 1 View all feedback.
Wonderful rooms that are exceptionally clean and equipped with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. I can't wait to return! Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Luxury, beautiful views, peaceful atmosphere, excellent value.
As for the rooms, ours was delightful with a really comfortable bed. The drink selection, especially the cider and real ale, was excellent. Breakfast was a highlight, offering a wonderful variety of cooked options. One morning, I had the Smoked Salmon with scrambled eggs, and the next day I enjoyed poached haddock with poached eggs. My husband tried the full English breakfast and loved it. Although we didn't dine in for dinner since we were out in the evening, we did have some sandwiches which were very nice. The food was really lovely, made even better by the friendly staff. All in all, we had a wonderful stay!
We attended a wedding reception at this venue, and the staff were wonderful and extremely attentive. The outdoor area is delightful, and the food was excellent. Service: 5 Location: 5
