The service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere was peaceful with well-spaced tables. The coleslaw was classic and the fries were fantastic. The walk over from Woodmancote was lovely, but beware of the steep climb - you might want to limit yourself to two pints!

We popped in just to have a drink and ended up booking dinner the following evening. The food, service, location and beer garden was all spot on! Les the owner is a right laugh and after dinner sat with him and his lovely wife Emma for a couple of drinks! We hope to come back for a slice of the best selling Malteser Cheesecake!

Two of us had fish a... read more Stopped here for lunch after hiking around Dursley and Uley. Took a table in the sun bathed beer garden and had some nice Camden lager/IPA. Two of us had fish and chips some of the best we’ve had. Wagyu beef burgers were also superb, as was the homemade coleslaw that came with it. Can’t say a bad word about it!
