A beautiful rural. traditional pub ... fantastic eating recommend the Mediterranean tart and the ribs. a friendly rental .. highly recommended. will definitely be visited again.
We had a wonderful birthday dinner with delicious food and perfectly crisp cider at this restaurant. The service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere was peaceful with well-spaced tables. The coleslaw was classic and the fries were fantastic. The walk over from Woodmancote was lovely, but beware of the steep climb - you might want to limit yourself to two pints!
What lovely pub owners!! We popped in just to have a drink and ended up booking dinner the following evening. The food, service, location and beer garden was all spot on! Les the owner is a right laugh and after dinner sat with him and his lovely wife Emma for a couple of drinks! We hope to come back for a slice of the best selling Malteser Cheesecake!
Wonderful afternoon listening to Christmas carols. Great pub. Good taste in tea. Happy customer!
Stopped here for lunch after hiking around Dursley and Uley. Took a table in the sun bathed beer garden and had some nice Camden lager/IPA. Two of us had fish and chips some of the best we’ve had. Wagyu beef burgers were also superb, as was the homemade coleslaw that came with it. Can’t say a bad word about it!
