The food was absolutely amazing, the salads were so fresh, the hummous was incredible and the falafels were insanely good. As someone who has eaten a lot of falafel and hummous in their life, I feel like I’m well versed in knowing a good one! The service was also incredible and the owners are so friendly, welcoming and chatty. We tried a Turkish red wine for the first time and it was such a lovely surprise and upon finishing our meal, we were given some delicious pistachio Turkish delights too. 100% will be visiting again and I’m definitely going to take my family when they come to visit next! Thank you for such an amazing meal!

We ch... read more We had cold meze starter plus mains. Efes is a fantastic traditional Turkish experience in Stroud. For me, it was best chicken Iskinder I have ever eaten. We chatted with the personable business owner and chef, and together with a knowledgeable waitress, the working duo made our night very special. We will definitely return to this gem.

The bread was good, about the only positive. Also the restaurant was completely empty which should have been a red flag.
