LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I can see us eating here OFTEN. Full neatly stocked bar, 4 beers on tap. My husband had the best club sandwich I 've ever had A bite of. It had gooey cheese on it, SOO GOOD! I had the TORNADO burger with tempura battered fried jalapeí±os and onions with jalapeí±o ranch. The fries were AMAZING, if you like 'em crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside,
My husband and I live just 20 minutes away, and we absolutely love this restaurant! The food is consistently excellent, the service is amazing, and the drinks are fantastic. We truly make an effort to visit as often as possible!
I ordered the vegetarian grilled cheese, which was supposed to come with tomatoes, but none were included. Additionally, the coffee I received was old—really old. I decided it wasn't worth the trouble to ask for a fresh pot since the coffee was complimentary. It was also disappointing to note that the mushrooms used in the dishes were not fresh; they were the pre-cooked, canned kind. Anyone who dines out knows that fresh mushrooms make a significant difference in flavor. If I'm going to pay $10 for a grilled cheese sandwich, I expect flavorful, fresh ingredients. In my view, the prices were on the high side. The sandwich came with chips, but any other sides incurred an extra charge. My total bill exceeded $11 for a sandwich that was fine but certainly not memorable. (Perhaps the coffee wasn’t complimentary because the menu indicated the sandwich was supposed to be $10, and with tax, that didn't quite add up.) I also witnessed another person at my table spending over $28 on their meal. On a positive note, the staff was friendly and appeared to be efficient. I'm sorry to say, Ruby's, that while I might return for drinks or music, I won't be making you my go-to spot for food. I plan to come back at a different time, hoping for a better experience.
The burgers are extremely dry, and the entire menu is overpriced for the low quality of the food. It seems like whoever created the menu has no real experience in the restaurant industry. If you happen to dine there while Nancy is working, good luck—she can be quite rude and unpleasant. Additionally, their drink menu is the most expensive I've ever encountered; I've never seen a shot of Fireball cost more than $5, yet theirs is priced at around $10. To top it off, they use subpar ingredients in their dishes. For a new business, this is a disappointing beginning.
Way too expensive for the low quality food. Never seen a restaurant use canned mushrooms before so that was cool I guess. The owner was chill but literally everything is way to expensive even there cheap stuff. The burgers were dry. Ate there 3 times hoping it was just an accident and everytime the burgers were dry and un seasoned.
