Triv's - Strongsville
Triv's
Description
Nestled in an unexpected vibrant atmosphere, Trivs dazzles with live music and attentive service, even when busy. Signature drinks, particularly the pineapple margarita, steal the spotlight. While some dishes shine—like the seafood risotto and flavorful soups—others fall short, with overcooked pasta and soggy appetizers disappointing some guests. Service inconsistencies occasionally mar the experience, ranging from forgotten orders to unfriendly staff. Despite varying sentiments, many patrons praise the generous portions and overall meal quality, making Trivs a place worth exploring, especially for those seeking an inviting ambiance over fine dining perfection.

We hosted a small family dinner at Triv’s after our wedding, and it was an incredible experience! The service was outstanding—truly impeccable. The food was not only delicious but also served in generous portions; many guests complimented how tasty everything was! In the lead-up to our special day, the team was very accommodating, ensuring our preferences were met effortlessly. The private party room was ideal for our group of about 30 and provided a lovely atmosphere for our dinner. A big thank you to the staff and management for making our day even more memorable! As for kid-friendliness, the staff went above and beyond for our youngest guest, providing him with a special kids' menu since the regular menu was a bit too sophisticated for him.
Decided to go here for my birthday and we sat in the lounge. We had a party of 9. It took over an hour and 1/2 for our food, which we were told the kitchen was backed up AFTER we put our food order in. Meanwhile, as our food comes out the server informs us that she forgot to ring an entire entree in and you would think she would’ve been apologetic about it, but that was not at all how it was. Instead, she was rude. Our server would not clear our dirty plates, she just waited for the bussers to do. If you see any empty dish, remove it from the table. We were told we would be compensated with some free desserts for the trouble, well that also did not happen. I expected better service at this restaurant and unfortunately will be dining at other establishments due to negligence and laziness. If you want to enjoy your dining experience go to Dons Pomeroy house.
