Drift offers a stunning coastal view that appeals to diners, but the overall experience can be disappointing. Patrons have found dishes like arancini and seafood marinara lacking in flavor and freshness, often resembling frozen food rather than local catches. While some items, such as King George Whiting, may satisfy, they raise concerns about value for money. However, the restaurant shines in its diverse vegan options and friendly service, appealing to a broader audience. With excellent service and a relaxed atmosphere, Drift is worth a visit, particularly for those who appreciate quality seafood and customizable meals.

Was Anonym at Drift a mag?
We had a wonderful dining experience with a variety of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The owner's daughter is vegan, which has led to an impressive selection of high-quality vegan choices. We tried the pizza and the noodle bowl, both of which were delicious and satisfying. There was no "vegan tax"; both meals were priced the same as their non-vegan counterparts. The location is beautiful, and there's a sea... View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about Drift:
coffee was pretty good, but service and cost were not so good. paid $13,50 for a small and a big coffee and $10 for a bottle of champagne that costs about one dollar at coles. Remember to come to dinner here, but after the trips $38 for a dozen utter natural and $44 for a little steak thought better about it. View all feedback.

It's truly wonderful to visit a restaurant that offers more than just a single vegan option, especially on the Eyre Peninsula. The menu is very accommodating, featuring a fantastic variety of dishes that go beyond the typical offerings for vegans. I'm excited to try the Bay Streaky during its opening, as I can't wait to sample the refreshing selection available!

The coffee was excellent. Today, I tried the vegan orange cake, carrot cake, and apple cake.

This restaurant has a stunning location right by the water. We loved it so much that we returned for breakfast. The seafood spread was incredible, and my husband mentioned that the steak was cooked to perfection. I really enjoyed customizing my breakfast; I wish all cafes offered this! The dish was creatively paired with one of the cooks – it needed more ice and a bit more cucumber mint. As for the service, the food was excellent.

I spent a few extra days around Blunt Bay just to have the opportunity to dine at Drift. What a disappointment! Our positive experience unfortunately ended with our meal. The ice cream we ordered arrived looking rather lackluster with no sign of being properly frozen. The arancini balls had no flavor other than a taste reminiscent of the freezer. The seafood marinara was more like soup, with a watery sauce, leading me to suspect it contained some frozen seafood, which is surprising for a coastal town that prides itself on fresh, local catches. On a positive note, the staff were friendly.
