Village Pie - Stratton Mountain

Apparently, many other people love this place because it was pretty crowded over the weekend. The conditions were great and the trails were well maintained. There are many shopping and restaurants at the base of the mountain and while it is expensive, it is somehow like a holiday just a few hours away. Ski early and again the day for less companions on the slopes.

This place is incredible that it is a whole city wrapped around a ski mountain. Ate at the amazing dinner in Mulligans, followed by a relaxing stay in the Black Bear Lodge that includes pool and free breakfast. The mountain was top notch and was lucky to see perhaps half ot during a full 8 hours day, which is how much terrain they have. Overall, amazing place to make memories with friends and family.

I did an adult group lesson at the Stratton Mountain Resort and it was absolutely fantastic. Our teacher Tim was extremely helpful and patient. He was always attentive and helped us all morning to ensure that we are comfortable and learning at a reasonable pace. I recommend ski lessons in Stratton!

Stratton is a quality ski experience. The mountain has varied terrain and is well maintained with both snowmaking and grooming. The ski amenities such as boot check and cafeteria are excellent The staff throughout is knowledgeable and friendly. After skiing, enjoy yourself at a restaurant at the base of the mountain. Visit there a few trips every year as we ski throughout the Northeast.

If your looking for a good time... here is where to find it! Stratton village is by far the best ski town village. The convenience of having all those little shops at the base of the mountain makes for having a great time! The mountain itself is fabulous! Nice and big, and very family friendly! This resort is one of the few mountains that we make sure to plan a trip to every single winter season because you can always count on enjoying yourself! This resort is pricey, but they do take good care of their visitors and its worth it!!
