I ventured down to Salt and Pepper's on the recommendation of a co-worker. It was hot out so I decided to pass on the soup but did have a turkey sandwich. The service was kind, courteous and quick. My sandwich was made, wrapped and bagged in about 3 minutes. I paid and took the sandwich to go although they do offer sit down seating at their café. The sandwich was very good, turkey, lettuce, tomato, cheese and mustard on Texas toast style bread. It was like one of those sandwiches you would make at home but would taste way better if someone else made it for you. The next cooler day I will go back to try the soup as it smelled so good.

This little over the counter eatin delight is a real treasure.It is home cooking at its finest.You place your order over the counter and can eat in or take out.While your waiting for your food, check out the home made dessert counter.This is good food, appealing and appetizing. I The place is not fancy, just basic table and chairs but they make up for it with friendly service and most importantly good food. A hidden delight.

The girls here know what they're doing!! After a couple of times, they'll remember your order.(if you order the same all the time) The sandwiches are always good. There are specials. The pies are OUTRAGEOUS!!! Everything is homemade.
