We were greeted by the sweet young lady helping her dad. She is a great little hostess!Had breakfast food, tasty as always. Hubby had turkey club. Delicious also. Fries could have been cooked a bit more. But overall yummy!Dietary restrictions: I have severe good allergies and they are great at keeping it nut free
My girlfriend and I stopped at Mike's for breakfast on the way from Calgary to Regina and again for supper on the way back. I can highly recommend both. Breakfast was a reasonable price as being an independent establishment Mike has no franchise fees to pay. Like its Humpty's predecessor, you can get perogies with your breakfast. For supper, I had the steak sandwich, which was extremely flavourful and the fries were excellent. My girlfriend had the brisket dip, which she said was amazing. Mike, the owner, personally comes around to the tables and he told us that they smoke and prepare their own brisket in house for about 20 hours and that he considers it their specialty. The décor is totally 80's ambiance with the walls covered in posters of 80's TV shows, movies and music. If you can break away from the usual chains, I can highly recommend Mike's.

Mike's catering service handled my aunt's funeral, and we couldn't be more pleased with their support. They were incredibly gracious to our guests, and the food was outstanding. Their brisket is absolutely incredible!
This restaurant truly surpassed my expectations in every aspect. It’s definitely worth the drive from Calgary just for the breakfast buffet. They offer all the usual favorites, along with incredibly tender, melt-in-your-mouth brisket and delicious eggs Benedict, plus a dessert bar and more. The service was quick and extremely friendly. Dietary restrictions? They have plenty of pork-free options available!
