The service was a bit u... read more The noise level was high, but the view and ambiance on this chilly day by the river were perfect. The temperature inside was just right. The service was a bit under pressure since it was busy, but we were well taken care of. However, I would appreciate it if they offered more water promptly when needed—if you catch my drift. The selection of dishes was excellent, but the portion sizes didn't quite match the cost. That said, this could improve with some of their recommended favorites. Overall, this was my first visit here.

He sta... read more We understand the issue on being short staffed.. as soon as we walked in (a group of 6) we encountered staff member who gave us attitude for being early. He stated “you have a reservation or you ‘had’ a reservation” and stared at us blankly like we didn’t belong there. We shortly sat down and the waitress proceeded to give us attitude after being seated in her section. We then moved to the bar area tables where our waiter came over to us a total of 2 times throughout our entire encounter, to greet us and then to take our order. We had more communication with the bussers, food runners, and bartenders who felt the need to come over and serve us being our server was not doing his job. All of the members of the group we were with have been to this establishment plenty during busy season as well as off season and to say we are disappointed is an understatement. The food was subpar, and honestly hurt to chew. Drinks were unimpressive and took long to come out, and we were not asked if we wanted another round or refills. Many people in our group are also members of the service industry. We will not be returning.
