The Heron Farm Shop And Kitchen

The restaurant and café are housed in a beautiful building. After a stroll through the Whitlees Wind Farm, we stopped for coffee and cake. The flat white coffee was enjoyable, and I particularly liked my salted caramel sponge cake.

This is a fantastic lunch spot during a road trip! The extensive menu offers something for everyone. We tried the burger and a tuna sandwich, both of which were excellent. The cakes were also a treat! Don't forget to check out the farm store; they have a great selection of local foods and gifts.

From the Stroke is a little gem, offering stunning views of the rolling fields. The service is friendly, and the food is excellent. The farm provides fresh fruits, vegetables, and local meat. You can also purchase plants, fruit bushes, and trees. I will definitely return! It's dog-friendly and cyclist-friendly, with a bike pump available on-site.
