Grub To Go - Stratford

Excellent quality food and local brews for unbelievable prices. I first came for lunch in 2015 and returned for dinner in 2016. The food is fresh, the flavours are excellent, and the service is speedy (which is great if you're on the way to the theatre). Our group split between the turkey sandwich and the burger and everyone was happy. Especially the brie lovers when they saw the nice thick slices on the sandwich! Just be advised that you need to go to the cash to pay or you might find yourself waiting a while at the table.

The food at this restaurant is excellent. They have an excellent selection of sandwiches and soups. We really enjoyed our meal.

Great food but, interestingly, they do not serve or cook with anything not grown or produced in Canada. So no pepper, cinnamon, etc. Soups, sandwiches, chili's were good and easily worth repeating. Food was fresh and freshly prepared. Comfortable, central location and friendly.

We stopped inat Canadian Grub for a quick lunch. The biggest problem was, the girl taking orders & serving didn't know her job. When asked questions about the menu, she said that she wasn't sure because she is new.The food was good but it was overpriced. I won't be returning!

I thought I'd try here as they use food and ingredients from Canada. I got the Montreal smoked meat sandwich with a salad. Salad was delicious and I really enjoyed the dressing. The bread for the sandwich was soft. The meat was so-so, I've never had montreal smoked meat that was brown in the middle. Pickles added a nice crunch.
