The barbecue here is fantastic, the facilities are clean, and there's a wonderfully friendly elderly lady managing the counter. It's a charming little pitstop, and I would be delighted to stop by again during any of my 81 trips!
This was a wonderful little stop along the road during my mid-trip journey. I picked up some coffee at Melody's Porch and took the time to enjoy a book from the free library.
What a fantastic place! I had the BBQ and breakfast sandwiches, and they were fresh and straightforward—perfect for a quick morning meal. The service was friendly and efficient. We enjoyed our food on the adjoining porch, where you can also grab some great boba or coffee. Surprisingly, even in early August, it felt comfortable and breezy! We'll definitely return the next time we're in the area.
This place is a true gem! The bathrooms are very clean, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the cozy outdoor area is the perfect finishing touch!
I’ve traveled across the country, and this is my absolute favorite stop on any road trip! They have everything you could possibly want, and the atmosphere is fantastic. It strikes the perfect balance between being charming and still functioning as a gas station. You can find boba, ice cream, barbecue sandwiches, glass bottle drinks, souvenirs, kimchi, and shots of whiskey all under one roof. It’s truly a hidden gem!
