Fun place with delicious food and lots of different beers. I’m not a beer drinker, but they have 3 different types of hard cider. The cherry cider is the best I’ve ever tasted. View all feedback.
What Frances collins doesn't like about Box Office Brewery:
Walked in sat at the bar with three servers sitting there talking to other customers ignoring us couldn't get a menu couldn't get a hello got tired of waiting so we left we will never return. We are new to town trying to find a good place to go one bartender sitting on his butt and the other one hovering over a cake talking to the other customers talking about call to try to speak to an owner or a manager was told th... Great community gathering place for couples, families, date nights or just wanna hang out with friends. DeLicious in house made food and brews. Paint night is a real success and fun thing to do. Live music and even a community meeting room. Historic Strand theater with a modern flair.

Box Office is a wonderful local brewery. Their beer and food selection are top notch. Service is great and the staff are friendly. They work hard preparing a high quality experience and the beer is a wonderful product. You definitly need to visit.
This is a bit of a unique place and things work a little different here. After visiting I now understand some of the experiences in the negative reviews. There are two entrances, one in the back and one in the front. If you come in the front door there is a stand with a sign explaining to take a menu, seat yourself, and order at the bar, simple (and have a good experience). Come in the back on a first visit and likely have no idea what is going on (and maybe have a poor experience). Now there is a sign and menu's near the back door but it is easy to miss and pretty far from the door so you likely won't see it. You will then wonder if you seat yourself or look for a hostess then be upset when no one ever comes to take your order lol. You also clear your own table when done, this all works and I get it but some may not, for the latter this place may not be for you. Now they have a good selection of beer, friendly staff, and great food so give it a try!
My wife and I stopped at the Box Office Brewery for lunch on our way home to Maryland. It is a brewery housed inside an old movie theater. The surroundings are very nice and it is a comfortable relaxed atmosphere. It was a friendly place with good customer focused service. I had a 5 flight of brew and my wife had the hard cider. All were good. I thought the Black Lager and Wheat beer were the winners, but it comes down to personal taste. All were enjoyable. For lunch we had the brisket, smoked wings and beet salad. It is a bar type menu with the exception of the great BBQ. The brisket was melt-in your mouth tender and tasted great. Wings were large and had great flavor. They have an array of sauces, so you are sure to find one you like. I liked them all. The salad was also very good. Prices were also very reasonable. In summary, a good informal place that is friendly, good service, good brew, great BBQ in nice and interesting surroundings. I'm still thinking about the brisket.
