Really great service, and though there was a bit of a wait, that doesn’t matter because just outside of it is a 2 shipwrecks that are a blast to explore and have fun on. A great little beach area as well, and the after that FUN wait, the food is absolutely worth it. I will eat there as much as I can.

Having never tried trout at all I was... read more Dropped in for fish and chips on Wednesday evening. We got one piece of trout a serve of chips and a Greek salad for $31. Having never tried trout at all I was excited to experience the taste. I found it tasted like salmon and was absolutely delicious. The only reason I’m giving this a four rating not five rating is because the trout was $17 for a piece that was smaller than a female palm of hand as a Queenslander I think that’s expensive. Overall it was a really lovely place to get a takeaway from and the service was very friendly.

Avoid the inflated meal costs offered by other local restaurants and come to The Bay Fish Co. for fresh seafood, prepared and loved by locals. Only a 2 minute wait, fantastic opening hours and self-serve sauces and chicken salt, how good!

We shared the grilled octopus with grilled vegetables and the grilled trout with Nicoise salad.
