Wow! This was one of my first real memories of life in USA, decades ago! So happy back then. They had the best grilled cheese sandwiches! Called the grilled cheese butterfly , it had carrots/vegies, very nice presentation. I remember one day some local pilots spent the day flying people and giving certificates. I still have mine in a box somewhere. I HIGHLY Recommend! Food: 5 View all feedback.
What Suzanne G doesn't like about Nancy's Air Field Café:
I had not been here for a long time and I was not impressed. The place is looking tired and maybe it is. The food has been become very mediocre to simply not good. Also ordering at the podium seems very disjointed. I had the salmon and bagel and it was horrible. The worst bagel I have ever had. They should get their bagels at Bagels Plus in Acton. I would have ordered the lamb burger until I found out it was $17 with... View all feedback.
I'm sad to share that this hidden gem has closed its doors. A new establishment, 'Fourth and Field,' will be opening soon at the same location. Here’s hoping the food and atmosphere stay just as wonderful!

I absolutely adore Nancy and her café! The food is consistently exceptional. We've been there for both brunch and lunch, enjoying their unique omelets, pancakes, and classic burgers. There’s always something special on the menu, particularly during the summer when they incorporate fresh herbs and vegetables from their garden right outside the front door. As an added bonus to the charming ambiance, you can watch small planes take off and land, and you might even get a chance to meet a pilot or two! There’s ample parking available, and you can choose to dine indoors or outdoors.
The prices are too high, and they really need to address the wasp issue in their outdoor seating area—my daughter got stung.
Additionally, they no longer have waitstaff, and our meals were served in takeout containers, yet they still charge a mandatory 20% gratuity, which doesn't make much sense. The portion sizes were also quite small, and I left feeling hungry. The worst part was the bill, which totaled $175 for breakfast for four people. $175?! This was by far the most expensive and underwhelming breakfast I've ever experienced. I feel bad writing this because Nancy, the owner, is very nice, but she mentioned she's looking to sell the restaurant and airport, so perhaps they are trying to maximize profits before selling. Unfortunately, I won't be returning, as I really don't know what justifies a nearly $300 meal.
