I had a wonderful beer experience at this restaurant. The ambiance was cozy with a wood fire and I enjoyed holding an excellent beer in my hand. The decor displayed the beer making process beautifully, with glass walls allowing guests to see the brew in action. The service was excellent. I recommend starting with a tasting card, which offers a nice variety of brewed options. I particularly enjoyed their complex-tasti... View all feedback.

I really didn't dig the beers... They were decent, but I have definitely had far nicer beers at other breweries around SA.The staff are cool, very welcoming and friendly, so it was a bit of a let down. View all feedback.
This is one of the few places I’d give a proper 5/5 stars. Where do I start?Well first off the atmosphere is fantastic. The place really gives me the feeling of a small pub in the countryside somewhere. They have a little window that lets you see into their brewery a fireplace to make it feel nice and cozy.Secondly, the staff are amazing! Our waiter/bartender was extremely friendly, helpful and funny. He was always there when we needed something.Third, the beer: probably some of the best tasting beer I’ve ever had! They had a special seasonal brew that blew my mind and I highly recommend it if they have it: the chocolate peanut butter Porter! It sounds like it shouldn’t work and I was sceptical at first but I’m willing to try Almost anything once. They gave me a taste and it was truly amazing! 10/10 beer. All around amazing, we also had food from the Marilyn's 60’s diner while we were there and it was amazing! Will be doing a separate review on them because this microbrewery deserves its own spotlight!
A proper “craft microbrewery” (unlike a lot of the microbreweries, that are really just “mini industrial” breweries), which is passionately run. Beer is question of personal taste, so where I did not like some, I really liked others (Redwood Ale was a winner for me) and would definitely recommend a visit from any beer enthusiast when in the area.
Well worth a stop. Most places that make beer are well worth a stop, but this brewery is a little more than that. Their beers are interesting and their staff is well knowledgeable, which means you can drink and have a snooty beer conversation as well. Today, Johan's Brown really stuck out to me. Tomorrow it might be something else.

What a small yet interesting place this was to visit. We were amazed to see that their beer gets made in such a small place. Dynamite definitely comes in small packages. Great place for beer tasting. #Fromgraintoglass
