Was Corbin Glover at J&b Butcher a mag?
I was in search of a local butcher that came highly recommended, and I decided to give this one a try. Initially, I was unsure whether to get a steak or some tips, but the staff member behind the counter was incredibly helpful. I ultimately chose the teriyaki-marinated steak tips, and they turned out to be the best I've ever had. They were so tender that they practically melted in my mouth, and the teriyaki sauce was... What Paul Johnson dislikes about J&b Butcher:
I ordered four strip steaks for pickup and the quality deserves five stars. However, they charged $20.99 per pound, which is $4 more than the same cut at the store, where it's $16.99 per pound. This price seems excessively high for that cut of meat. I've never encountered this at a butcher shop before. I'm quite unhappy about this, and I probably won't be returning. View all feedback.

Butcher shop was very clean. Lots of choices of marinated meats. Looking forward to returning.

Its... Ok. The selection for stuff to throw on the grill is good, but there's not much in terms of fresh, interesting, unique cuts here.

No same day orders?!?! No posted prices on any products in store!?!?AND... They slice cheese on the meat slicer ......?The place is tiny and the help is sub par and very slow (weights are also questionable! I've witnessed many complaints from customers other than me, in store as well. Meats are ok, sometimes too fatty, and premade foods are not tasty! Not awesome, just meh.

They were so tender that they practically melted in my mouth, and the teriyaki sauce was outstanding. We also tried an arancini ball that was nearly the size of my head! My husband is eager to visit again and explore some of the unique items they offer. This place has definitely won us over as regular customers. I highly recommend it—10/10!
