This pub is well-managed and has a great smoking area, dance area (perfect for late nights on weekends), and regular live music. The Steakhouse is amazing, thanks to the talented chef. The pub has a charming thatched roof and a modern interior with big screen TVs, making it more suitable for a younger crowd. The selection of real ales and lagers is excellent. Sometimes the bar staff prioritize chatting with their friends and regulars over serving customers, but overall it's a good pub.
